The Prindle Post is a digital publication examining the key ethical issues behind current events and culture. It is hosted, staffed, and maintained by The Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics at DePauw University.

Editor: Tucker Sechrest

Regular writing positions for The Prindle Post are currently open to DePauw undergraduates from all disciplines and PhD-level scholars with a specialization in ethics. We also accept submissions that address ethical issues in a popular context.

Pitches are accepted on a case-by-case basis. If you’d like to submit a pitch, please address your email to Tucker Sechrest and title it “Pitch for Prindle Post contribution.” In your email, please provide a few lines of introduction with relevant writing and academic experience (including current or expected degree and discipline), and include a brief description of your proposed original article. Specificity is crucial, and we will not accept general solicitations without a specific idea. We suggest perusing The Prindle Post before writing to get an idea of the website’s voice and style. Please note that initial acceptance of a pitch does not guarantee publication or compensation.

If you are interested in writing with more involvement, News Analyst positions are available. For further information about applying, contact Tucker Sechrest.
